Warranty Periods and Your Rights

🗓 1. First 30 Days – Right to Reject

You have the legal right to a full refund if the product is:

  • Faulty
  • Not as described
  • Unfit for purpose

You must notify us within 30 days from the purchase or delivery date. You may also choose a repair or replacement during this time.


🛒 2. Website Orders – 14-Day Cancellation

For online purchases (excluding in-store collection):

  • You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item.
  • Contact the store or email us at info@gogadgetoutlet.co.uk within that time.
  • Return items in original condition within 14 working days after notifying us.

We will issue a refund (including standard delivery charges) within 14 days of receiving your return.

Note: Media items (e.g. DVDs, games, software) that have been unsealed cannot be returned.


🛠 3. After 30 Days and Up to 6 Months

If a fault develops:

  • It is presumed the fault was present at the time of sale unless proven otherwise.
  • We are entitled to one attempt to repair or replace the item.
  • If unsuccessful, you are entitled to a full refund.

🔧 4. After 6 Months and Up to 12 Months

If a fault occurs:

  • You must prove the fault was present at purchase.
  • We will attempt a repair or replacement.
  • If unsuccessful, we may offer a partial refund based on:
    • Fair usage
    • Item condition
    • Resale value

Repair or Replacement Terms

You may state a preference, but Go Gadget Outlet reserves the right to decide whether to repair, replace, or refund an item.


Returns – What’s Required

Returned items must:

  • Include valid proof of purchase (receipt or digital record)
  • Be complete with original accessories, manuals, and packaging

All returned goods will be tested. If faulty, repair or refund will be issued. Reasonable return postage costs will be refunded upon proof.


Delivery Responsibility

We are responsible for your item until it is in your possession or delivered to someone you’ve authorised (e.g. a neighbour or safe place).

If theft or loss occurs after being delivered to a third party or designated safe place, no refund will be issued.

Delivery is only considered late after 30 days, unless a specific date was agreed in writing.


Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical or liquid damage
  • Jailbreaking, rooting, BIOS or firmware flashing
  • Accidental or misuse damage
  • Consumables like batteries, bulbs (after 30 days)
  • Opened digital content or software
  • Devices with removed/tampered components
  • Faults caused by non-authorised repairs
  • Data loss (please back up all data before return)

Sealed batteries in new items are covered for the full 12 months. Used item batteries are only covered for 30 days.


Data Liability

We are not responsible for personal data left on returned devices. Please ensure all data is removed before returning or sending in items.


Your Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
